8 winners of ERC Advanced Grants

The European Research Council announced on April 6th the selection of the winners of the "ERC Advanced Grant 2017." Université PSL is proud to include 8 successful researchers on the 34 European projects hosted in France. Among them, Shihab Shamma, Lydéric Bocquet and Philippe Aghion benefited from the "Chairs of Excellence PSL" program, which attracts world-renowned researchers to PSL.
The winners of the 2017 Advanced Grants
- Philippe Schlenke, a CNRS researcher at the Institut Jean-Nicod (CNRS / EHESS / ENS Paris) and Global Distinguished Professor at New York University. Orisem project.
- Lyderic Bocquet a CNRS researcher at the Laboratory of Statistical Physics at ENS (CNRS / ENS Paris / Sorbonne University / Paris Diderot University). Shadoks project.
- Michel Brune, a CNRS researcher at the Kastler Brossel Laboratory (CNRS / Collège de France / ENS Paris / Sorbonne University). Trenscrybe Project.

Three researchers from institutions associated with Université PSL are also among the winners.
- Philippe Aghion, a professor at the Collège de France, Centre de recherche sur l'économie de l'innovation (Center for Research on the Economics of Innovation). IFDG project.
