A literature for the future?

Rencontre avec Jean-Pierre Goux ens

A meeting with Jean-Pierre Goux as part of the conference series "Towards the Great Transition?" organized by Ecococampus ENS.

Caught between Promethean techno-prophecies and predictions of global collapse, we wonder: have we really told all the possible stories of the Great Transition?

After a short introduction to the theme by the Ecocampus ENS association, Jean-Pierre Goux will present his novel Siècle bleu as a simulation of the near future and an inspiration for action in reality. As a prelude to the debate, the immersive Blueturn experience, of which he is co-author, will invite us to radically change our perspective: with images from NASA's DSCOVR satellite located at Lagrange L1 at 1.5 million kilometres, Blueturn shows the first videos of the planet Earth filmed from space, and thus invites all Earth to feel the overview effect, well known to astronauts.
