Like the COP (Conference of the Parties), the Students'COP brings together students from different schools and universities to simulate a climate conference.
On the occasion of the Parlement des Entrepreneurs d’Avenir et du Parlement des Jeunes (organized at the OECD on January 22 and 23, 2020), Unis-Terre is organizing a Students' COP for Entrepreneurs in Paris on January 21, 2020. The organization wants to bring together 150 students and entrepreneurs to raise awareness on climate issues and to make them think together about concrete and sustainable solutions to fight against global warming at the level of their own businesses. The Students' COP is a student project organized by the association Unis-Terre in collaboration with the réseau français des étudiants pour le développement durable (REFEDD) and the Cop in MyCity project of the association Climates.
Program
8:30 a.m. – 9:00: Welcome coffee
9:00 – 12:30 noon: Simulation of a COP
2:00 p.m - 7: Recommendations
7:00: Opening of the conference by Anaïs GOUVERNEL (présidente d’Unis-Terre) and Jacques HUYBRECHTS (co-fondateur du Parlement des Entrepreneurs d'avenir)
8:30: Conférence « le temps du basculement » avec Corine LEPAGE (Femme Politique et avocate), Clémence VORREUX (the shift project), Amelie DELOCHE (Collectif pour un réveil écologique), Céline CLAVERIE (secrétaire Générale, Kedge).
9:00: Cocktail
