Message from Alain Fuchs, President of PSL, and all of the heads of schools following confirmation of the IdEx.
Dear Colleagues, Students, and Alumni,
Today, confirmation of our IdEx (Initiative d'Excellence) was announced by Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and Guillaume Boudy, Secretary-General for Investment. Highlighting the excellence of our research and training, they commended our commitment to building a new form of academic institution that combines a grande école and a university. In recognition, the French government has decided to make permanent its support for PSL by fully transferring its non-expendable endowment.
Unfortunately, the public health emergency that is affecting us all so severely does not allow us to come together and jointly celebrate a success that is entirely owing to you. Therefore, together with the heads of each school, we wanted to send you this message to express our deepest gratitude and our very sincere thanks.
