Relying on the expertise of its researchers, ESPCI Paris is launching a MOOC in French and English, focusing on the dynamics of fluid interfaces. Designed by Marc Fermigier, David Quéré, professor at the  Laboratoire de Physique et Mécanique des Milieux Hétérogènes (Laboratory of Physics and Mechanics of Heterogeneous Environments) and Christophe Clanet, professor at the Ecole Polytechnique, the course is aimed at students with a good knowledge of fluid mechanics and wishing to deepen their knowledge and also at everyone willing to discover the dynamics of interfaces.
The course comprises 6 parts, divided into several chapters, with numerous videos of experiences, additional bibliographical references and the possibility of carrying out exercises of varying difficulty. Enrollement will start on 2 January on the France Université Numérique platform, with courses starting in March. Enrollment is free of charge, and there is no limit to the number of available spots.
