Come and discover the young generation of international research in biology with PSL!

Since the creation of the Young Researchers in Life Sciences (YRLS) federation in 2009, an international scientific conference has been organized each year by young researchers from various Parisian research institutes for young researchers starting their academic careers in all fields of biological research.

The quality and reputation of this conference is recognized each year by the participants, and also by the researchers we invite to assess the quality of the presentations.

For the 10th anniversary of the YRLS federation, the presentations are divided into 3 main sessions and focus on the purpose of our participants' research projects:

  • Decoding life: from DNA to organisms
  • Innovating for a better world: Therapeutics and Technologies
  • Unravelling diseases: what went wrong?

Our guest speakers will present their work during the conference; they are:

Prof. Ronald Vale (Professor of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at the University of California, US)
Prof. Martin Fussenegger (Professor of Biotechnology and Bioengineering at ETH Zurich and the University of Basel, Switzerland)
Prof. Pascale Cossart (Professor of Cell Microbiology and Director of the Bacteria-cell Interactions Unit at the Institut Pasteur)
