- Doctoral conference AI for The Sciences
The PSL DATA Program, in collaboration with PR[AI]RIE, is organizing the third edition of the Doctoral Conference on AI for the Sciences.
This conference aims to bring together Ph.D. students whose research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and sciences (physics, biology, cognitive sciences, economics, etc.). It is intended both for students applying these methods within their discipline and for those developing methodological contributions motivated by, or connected to, scientific applications.
A central feature of this year’s conference will be the participation of two invited keynote speakers, which lectures will open the two half-day sessions:
- Chloé-Agathe Azencott, CBIO Mines Paris-PSL, Institut Curie et INSERM
- Fabrice Rossi, CEREMADE Université Paris Dauphine PSL
The program will also include short presentations by selected Ph.D. students (approximately 15 minutes, plus questions), a poster session featuring presentations by Ph.D. students, and a social event.
To submit your work for either the short talk session or the poster session, please send your CV and an extended abstract of no more than two pages (single column, font size no smaller than 11 pt), indicating your preference for a short talk or a poster, to justine.petit@psl.eu by April 30, 2026 (email subject: Application to the Doctoral Conference on AI for the Sciences). Submitted abstracts should place particular emphasis on the methodological aspects of the work and provide substantive insight into the intended or developed applications. Notification of acceptance will be sent by May 8, 2026.
Participation in the conference may, depending on the rules of the relevant doctoral school, beeligible to count toward doctoral training; interested students are encouraged to contact the headof their Ph.D. program for further information.
