Developing an economy based on knowledge and innovation is one of the main thrusts of the Europe 2020 strategy. PSL, by bringing together public laboratories of excellence and researchers of the highest international caliber, is fully embedded in the French realization of this European ambition. In 2017, the three PSL applications for the Ile-de-France Region's call for proposals to be co-financed by the ERDF were selected. The positive result, thanks to the work of the EU Affairs office, allows the co-financing of three structuring PSL projects for a period of 24 months.

PSL E-Executive Education, a digital training platform dedicated to managers and alumni

PSL E-Executive Education aims to benefit from PSL's academic excellence for lifelong learning. By June 2019, the project plans to create a digital multi-modal training platform. This innovative platform will allow PSL executives and alumni with Bachelor’s degree and further degrees to obtain diplomas or high-end certifications in order to enrich their professional career and benefit from a personalized follow-up. Implemented by Domoscio, PSL's partner on the project, the PSL-EEE platform will be based on adaptive learning algorithms, memory anchoring and longitudinal tracking algorithms. These technologies, based on learners' interactions with the platform and the training contents, make it possible to create a training course adapted to each student.

PSL Transfert Entreprises promote the creation and development of start-ups

Chimie Paris Innov: construction and extension of premises for the reception of innovative companies (Chimie ParisTech)

In a context where the reindustrialisation of our economy seems to be an essential lever for the development of the country and the region, the development of innovative venues, meeting points and contacts between high-level researchers and innovative companies in an open and adaptative environment are necessary. Chimie Paris Innov is a structuring investment project, including the construction and extension of venues for the reception of innovative companies, all of which are in third places bringing together researchers from the public and private sectors, entrepreneurs, students, professors. It foresees the creation of a PartnerLab (involving the creation of a specialized Masters, a dedicated training platform, a technical platform) and the creation of joint ad-hoc laboratories to incubate partnership projects with very innovative small companies. The project will rely in particular on the contribution of Agilent, which will provide technological equipment to researchers and students.
