Université PSL’s Campaign for Idex Status Nears the Finish Line
France's Prime Minister has confirmed PSL University's IDEX label (Excellence Initiative). The University has now entered the final phase of the process leading to the definitive attribution of its public endowment. Work with the State and the City of Paris has already begun on the final version of PSL's new bye-laws and organizational structure.
PSL University has entered the final phase of the process to obtain its "Excellence Initiative" label (IDEX). The duration of this phase will be agreed with the State. Once finalized, PSL will benefit from both the IDEX label and public endowment.
Says Université PSL President Alain Fuchs, “We are nearing the finish line. The French government and the jury have recognized our university’s scientific strengths, the impressive maturity of our projects and the appropriateness of our model. During this confirmation phase, we will be engaged in discussions with the government to resolve a number of institutional issues; we will also be focusing on building our major research and education programs and, as requested, we will be demonstrating how our common strategy has grown stronger.”
