YMETRY
YMETRY is a start-up from IBENS (ENS - PSL) which develops and manufactures new patented head fixation systems for neuroscience experiments on living and awake animals (mice, rats, ferrets, etc.).
Made from medical grade titanium using 3D printing, these custom-designed instruments will provide access to previously inaccessible brain regions. These easily implemented solutions will reduce the time required for recording sessions. Furthermore, without skimping on stability properties and with a view to respecting animal welfare, these head fixing systems are light and adapt perfectly to the morphology of the rodent without obstructing its sensory system. Consequently, these solutions will allow obtaining relevant and reliable records.
