President Alain Fuchs, a professor at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC), has served as President of the CNRS since January 2010. His term of office was renewed in February 2014. A chemical engineer by training, he has devoted his research work to the modeling and molecular simulation of confined fluids. He is the founder of the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry (CNRS/Université Paris Sud), which he also headed until 2006. From 2006 to 2010, he was director of Chimie ParisTech. A Chevalier of the French Legion of Honor, Alain Fuchs is also an officer of France's National Order of Merit, a fellow of the UK Royal Society of Chemistry and a member of the Academia Europaea. He holds an honorary doctorate from the Université du Québec in Montréal.

Edouard Husson worked as a researcher at the Institut für Zeitgeschichte of Munich (1999-2001) and was a Visiting Fellow at the Washington Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies (2005, 2006). He was awarded an honorary PhD from the Academy of Philosophy of Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) for his contributions to the history of the Shoah. “I dream of a university that continually embraces creativity, where all students can think of themselves as entrepreneurs of their future”.

She runs the Codicology, Library and Heraldic History group at the Institut de Recherche et d’Histoire des Textes (CNRS). She built and runs the BIBLISSIMA Equipex sponsored by the Condorcet Campus. Since September 2016, she has served as PSL's Vice-Dean of Research in charge of art and humanities.

Dean of Academic Affairs Isabelle Catto has served as Dean of Academic Affairs at PSL since June 2014. A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de Fontenay-Saint-Cloud (1985) and agrégé in Mathematics, she received her PhD in Mathematics from Université Paris-Dauphine, a founding member of PSL, in 1992. She was awarded a dissertation prize from the Chancellerie des Universités de Paris. She has conducted research at CNRS and CEREMADE (Université Paris-Dauphine) since 1992. Her research focuses on non-linear partial differential equations and variational problems with lack of compactness. She joined the PSL leadership team in 2012 as Vice-Dean of Academic Affairs. Dr. Catto helped design the CPES multidisciplinary preparatory class, PSL’s innovative undergraduate program, which she directed until October 2016. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Observatoire de Paris and CNSAD.

Given the very high level of research conducted at PSL, he is able to implement this policy through the promotion of new technology start-up companies.

An expert in ethnographic methods and the related ethical and epistemological challenges, she works on the links between social welfare and the practical aspects of kinship related to the care of severely disabled individuals with cognitive deficiencies or mental illness. She is a Knight (Chevalier) of the French Légion d’Honneur.

Droit et politique au XIVe siècle (Paris, ENC, 2002); Entre rébellion et obéissance (Genève, Droz, 2013) and Meurtre au donjon (Paris, PUF, 2014). Since September 1, 2016, she has served as Director of the École nationale des chartes.
