President Professor Alain Fuchs is a physical chemist specialising in molecular thermodynamics. He has co-authored 200+ publications and has spent many academic years abroad. Alain Fuchs is currently President of the PSL University. He was President of the CNRS, and before that Director of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris, after having been Director of the Laboratoire de Chimie-Physique d'Orsay. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a member of the Academia Europaea. He holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Quebec in Montreal, is a Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur and is decorated with the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Stars Alain Fuchs took on his position as the President of PSL in October 2017. His term was renewed in February 2020. He was also elected President of the PSL Foundation in October 2017, renewed in February 2021.

Vice President for Student Life and Social Responsibility Florence Benoit-Moreau graduated from HEC Paris and holds a PhD in Management Science from Dauphine - PSL. She is currently associate professor in Marketing at Dauphine - PSL where she is in charge of the Masters’ degree in Marketing and Strategy. Before her career in academia, she was consultant for the BCG (Boston Consulting Group). She is also a member of the Scientific Committee of Dauphine - PSL and member of the Conseil national des universités. Her research addresses questions regarding the link between marketing and society: gender stereotypes, sustainable consumption, collaborative consumption (consumer’s participation, sharing economy…). As of February 2021, she became a member of PSL’s Executive Committee as the Vice-President for student life and social responsibility.

After completing her thesis at Sorbonne University (2003), she joined the Centre des Matériaux as a teacher-researcher. In 2006, she moved to MIT as an assistant professor, and continues this collaboration by co-supervising theses. Sabine Cantournet is the founder and holder of the DEEP Industrial Chair in Elastomer and Polymer Design, in partnership with ESCPI Paris - PSL and HUTCHINSON (2017). She also created and directs a Carnot Mines project federating 7 research centers around Polymer Recyclability (2020 & 2023). She is co-author of 45 publications and 3 patents. Head of General Engineering at Mines Paris - PSL from 2014 to 2022, she was also responsible for a number of teaching-related missions (Stanford-France exchange program,

Vice President Artificial Intelligence Isabelle Ryl is Professor of Computer Science. She is co-founder and director of PRAIRIE (PaRis Artificial Intelligence Research InstitutE) at Université PSL, one of the 4 Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence Institutes accredited as part of the national strategy. Isabelle Ryl holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Lille, and has spent over 12 years of her career at Inria, in various management positions. She is an expert in innovation issues, particularly artificial intelligence and was a member of the French Innovation Council (interministerial body in charge of defining the major orientations and priorities of innovation policy). She is also a Knight of the Legion of Honor. In March 2024, she became Vice President Artificial Intelligence at Université PSL.

He was a member of the National Council of Universities (2007-2010) and a member of the National Committee for Scientific Research (2012-2016). His research focuses on wave propagation in complex media, with contributions in the fields of ultrasound, microwaves and geophysics. He has co-authored more than 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings and books. He is co-inventor of 6 patents and co-founder of Time Reversal Communications. With three of his colleagues, he was awarded the Diderot Innovation Prize in 2007. He joined PSL as Vice President for Research and Outreach in July 2022.

In 2009, she became the Director of Finance at the Université de Strasbourg and supported the development of the newly merged university. In 2017, she joined Université PSL as Deputy Operating Officer and contributed to defining and implementing the establishment’s strategy.

From 1999 to 2004, she taught acting at the Cours Florent. She continued her career as a stage actress and co-director. From 2004 to 2007, she was a guest lecturer in high schools, then directed a masterclass at Princeton University in the United States Princeton University until 2016. Sandy Ouvrier took up her new position on July 1, 2023.

A medievalist specialized in political and social history, she has authored many publications, including: Quand les femmes gouvernent. Droit et politique au XIVe siècle (Paris, ENC, 2002); Entre rébellion et obéissance (Genève, Droz, 2013) and Meurtre au donjon (Paris, PUF, 2014). Since September 1, 2016, she has served as Director of the École nationale des chartes.

A former student of the ENS (1982), he was ranked first in the agrégation in Philosophy in 1986 and defended his doctoral thesis in 1995 at the University of Clermont-Ferrand. He became a lecturer and a professor in Philosophy at Charles de Gaulle University in Lille (Lille III) for ten years. He joined the ENS in 2013 and had been Deputy Director of Literature there since 2015. As a philosopher, his centers of interest are care and democracy, exploring the relationship between science and society and the dissemination of knowledge. He was a member of the French National Consultative Ethics Committee (CCNE) from 2013 to 2021.

He is a specialist in the history of Italian Renaissance art; his research has focused on 16th-century Venetian painting, the patrons and sponsors of the period, and the social history of art. Michel Hochmann is also interested in the history of collections and pictorial techniques, and organized an exhibition devoted to the collections of Cardinal Ferdinando I de' Medici at the Villa Medici. Michel Hochmann is a member of the EPHE - PSL Board of Directors and Scientific Board, co-directs a research program on the profession of the painter in southern Europe, and heads the ANR Carracciconserart project.

Then she joined the Management of Research and Innovation at the French Ministry of Research and Higher Education. In this capacity, she represented the ministry on the institute’s Board of Directors. An expert in biochemistry and clinical proteomics for saliva biomarkers, she initiated the first biobank of saliva samples. Professor Deville de Périère has been awarded the honors of Officière des Palmes Académiques, Chevalier dans l’Ordre National du Mérite and Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur. A reserve colonel in the French army, she is also very involved in international affairs. She was President of a division of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and is honorary senator at Heidelberg University.
