3,000 to 5,000 students and young professionals, all from major European and American universities, participate each year in the MIT European Career Fair. For one day, they have the opportunity to connect with hundreds of European organizations (companies, universities, NGOs), and learn about job opportunities, internships or training.

On February 24th, Université PSL participated in the event, with the Institut Curie, alongside other French universities and companies. Isabelle Catto, Dean of Academic Affaires, Audrène Eloit, Director of Partnerships and Development, and Christopher Cripps, Director of International Affairs at Université PSL, made the trip. "3 years ago, there were a handful of booths from French universities; now, there are twenty!" says Christopher Cripps. "It’s been a beautiful evolution and a great success, thanks to better coordination between universities and French companies, and the assistance of the Consulate to organize strong representation of France. The students who we met this year showed a great deal of interest in European universities! "

Dozens of potential candidates, all from the best American universities, learned about the Master's degrees, PhD, post-doctoral contracts or research internships provided by Université PSL. Visitors were interested in the six PSL Master’s degrees dedicated to Science (available in English) : Energy; Materials Science and Engineering; Interdisciplinary master in life Sciences ; Chemistry and Life Sciences; Space Science and Technology; Mathematics and applications.

Moreover, beyond the event itself, the MIT European Career Fair has always been a great opportunity, with the support of the French Consulate in Boston, to strengthen the links between French universities and major American universities.
